The Methow Valley School Board consists of five elected officials representing the approximately 5,000 people who live from Lost River to Gold Creek. The Board is responsible for the overall education program offered in Methow Valley School District.
The Board’s focus is to help the district fulfill its mission of critical thinking, character development and lifelong learning & discovery. Accordingly, most board meetings are dedicated to issues related to teaching and learning and policies that support high levels of student achievement. In 2011-2012, the Board will continue to work on practices associated with the Lighthouse model — a research-based program that helps boards develop a strong focus around student achievement.
The Board welcomes students, parents and community members to share information and provide feedback at board meetings. We are here to serve you.
