Technology is a vital part of our school district. With the passage of a tech levy in 2010, the district has updated computers, created a completely wireless environment on campus, and hired a technology integration coordinator to support student learning across all grade levels with the increased use of classroom technology.
In 2011-2012, the elementary launches an iPad pilot, as students use iPad applications to enrich their learning in math and reading, as well as making movies using iMovie.
At Liberty Bell, a new video productions class will start in 2011-2012, also funded through the technology levy. The school also offers digital photography and a Microsoft applications class.
