Although the State Tournaments haven’t yet started, LBHS Cross Country and Soccer teams have cause for early celebration. It’s an honor to announce that the LBHS Girls Cross Country (3.95 GPA) and Girls Soccer (3.87 GPA) programs have won the 2B Academic State Championship for each of their respective sports!
WIAA’s Scholastic Awards Program recognizes the team with the highest grade point average among all Washington high schools in their enrollment classification.
Both teams have done an outstanding job of representing our school, and modeling the commitment to academics that we strive for in all of our sports programs. Members of both teams are truly BALANCED learners that should be extremely proud of this accomplishment. Nice job players and coaches! You’ve made us very proud.
