Dear Methow Valley Families and Community Members,
The district’s four-year replacement maintenance and operations levy and capital projects-technology levy are scheduled to expire at the end of 2016.
Together, they represent approximately 28% of the district’s annual operating budget. They will be placed on the ballot during the February 9th, 2016 special election.
If approved by voters, the levies will provide critical funding to bridge the gap between what the state provides and what it actually cost to educate our students.
A MV Schools Levy Fact Sheet has been posted for your review.
Thank you,
Tom Venable
Superintendent, Methow Valley School District
