The Methow Valley School District unanimously approved the 2016-17 School Calendar. The calendar was developed by the district’s Calendar Committee. Highlights associated with the new calendar include:
- Kindergarten Parent-Teacher Conferences – We believe student success happens when there is a strong partnership between parents and teachers.With this goal in mind, kindergarten teachers will be scheduling individual parent-teacher conferences with the parents of registered kindergarteners August 30 through September 2. The official start date for kindergarten students is Tuesday, September 6th.
- Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences – An additional early release has been added to provide increased opportunities for parents and teachers to meet and review their child’s progress.
- Scheduled Make-Up Day – In the event of a school closure due to inclement weather, a make-up day has been scheduled to occur on Friday, February 17.
