Mentor Open House – Want to Make a Difference in the Lives of Our Teens?

Construction trades mentoringPlease join us at the Mentor Open House on Wednesday, November 16th at 6:00 pm at the Independent Learning Center located on the TwispWorks campus!

The research is really clear… One of the most powerful strategies used to promote responsible citizenship and future success includes the coordinated efforts of a community to provide strong mentorship to its youth. Mentorship plays a key role in the lives of our youth, especially our teens. Sometimes, it takes someone to see in us what we cannot see ourselves –

  • Someone to help us identify our strengths, our interests, and our passions.
  • Someone who is able to listen to us.
  • Someone who is able to offer thoughtful words of encouragement, and support.
  • Someone to be there as we transition from one milestone to another.

When you think about where you are now, who were those important mentors and role models in your life? Want to give back? Want to positively impact on the lives of our teens? If so, we’d encourage you to attend! Soup and refreshments will be provided.

Can’t attend but want more information?
