On the evening of December 14th, 2016 during the regular board meeting, members of the MVSD School Board of Directors unanimously approved the nomination of Frank Kline to serve a second consecutive term as the MVSD Board Chair.
As such, Board Chair Kline will continue to work closely with members of the board and superintendent to help the district fulfill its mission and vision – Working in partnership with our families and community, to develop curious, creative, compassionate, competent, action-oriented, citizens prepared to change the world.
The decision to nominate Kline to serve a second consecutive term as board chair was best captured by school board director, Dana Stromberger when she stated, “We (our board and staff) are a cohesive, dedicated team, committed to creating an exceptional school district. Kline’s selection as board chair is a reflection of the strong trust we have in one another, his commitment to our vision, and his leadership skills.”
Following his acceptance of the nomination, Board Chair Kline stated, “It’s truly an honor to serve on behalf of the community, in support of our staff, and as a member of this team… Our schools are a special place and I’m just happy to be a part of the exceptional work taking place.”
