With an interest in including student and parent input into the development of the 2017-18 MVSD School Calendar, the MVSD is inviting parents and students who wish to be considered for participation on the 2017-18 District Calendar Committee to submit their application online or in hard copy to the district office no later than Friday, February 10th at 4:30 p.m. To learn more, please visit the District Calendar Committee page.
Once established, the committee will work together to solicit input and feedback into the development of two calendar options (inclusive of start/end dates, holidays, professional development days and other key events) to be voted upon by staff (as defined by the current MVEA contract). The calendar option receiving the most votes will be recommended to the superintendent and school board for final approval (with a target date of March 22, 2017).
