As Winter sports come to a successful conclusion, Spring sports are set and ready to begin! Liberty Bell is excited to announce the addition of three coaches to the Spring coaching staff.
All of the coaches have passion for teaching through sports and for being part of a district-wide athletic program that encourages inclusivity and bolsters participation from as many Liberty Bell students as possible. Please join us in welcoming our new spring coaches!
Mike Baerveldt – Head Boys Soccer
Mike is a retired community member whose career was in the IT industry. He’s passionate about soccer and giving back to the community. His many years of coaching/playing will serve him well as he leads a group of excellent young men through their season. Mike is excited to find a good balance between fun and business, and hopes to lay a foundation for future success.

Joey, a graduate of Mercer Island HS, was a standout player during his scholastic career. He received a degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology from WWU, and currently works a number of jobs throughout the Methow Valley. As an experienced leader and tennis instructor, Joey’s experience working in tennis clubs will help ease the monotony of early season indoor practices!
