The MVSD and Liberty Bell are pleased to announce the hiring of Bob Bucsko as the the new LB Head Football coach. Bob will be taking the place of Steve White who recently resigned his position as head coach. When asked how he feels as he steps into his new role, Bob replied:
I consider myself very fortunate to be hired as the head football coach of the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions. This will be my 28th year as a head football coach and 9 years as an assistant coach.
In my younger years, I was a quarterback and defensive back in high school and college then 7 years semi-pro.
I have always been drawn to programs that were experiencing tough times. To be able to go into a program and rebuild it is a challenge that I readily accept. I believe that every young man who wants to, should be able to experience the opportunity to play high school football. I look forward to providing that opportunity and make this team competitive in its league.
