MVSD to Add Primary Classroom Teacher, Reducing K-3 Class Sizes

3rd Grade Student with Science ProjectCommitted to maintaining small class sizes at the primary grade levels during a period of overall growth in student enrollment, the Methow Valley School District will be using state funding and local levy dollars to expand staffing and reduce primary grade level class sizes by adding a classroom teacher within grades K – 3.

Using projected enrollment figures, the additional classroom teaching position will lower K-3 class averages to a ratio of 17 student per classroom teacher.

Thank you Methow Valley community for your generous support of our students!
