Air Quality Monitor Installed

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new air quality monitor for the Methow Valley School District; a tool that will help us to ensure the safety and well-being of MVSD students and staff.

This monitor is located on the Liberty Bell Junior/Senior High campus and will offer live, up-to-the-minute information regarding air quality. Provided by the Methow Valley Clean Air Project and funded by the Northwest Community Foundation’s Methow Fund, our monitor is one of 12 that will be installed this summer throughout the valley.

The air quality information will be available to the public and will be utilized by school employees to make decisions regarding participation in athletics, recess and other activities that bring our students outdoors.

Protecting the health and well-being of students in the Methow Valley School District is a vital part of our mission. We’d like to thank the Methow Valley Clean Air Project for helping us to have the best information available to help keep our kids healthy.

If you have any questions, please contact Michael Wilbur, MVSD Activities Director.
