We are excited to welcome Tracie Powney as the MVSD’s new elementary counselor. As a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced school counselor Tracie comes to us from the Nova School in Olympia. In addition to being a certified school counselor, Tracie is a licensed therapist, working in private practice with a wide range of ages.
Upon learning of her selection, Tracie stated, I am thrilled to be joining the team at Methow Valley Elementary School. I have enjoyed recreating in the beautiful Methow Valley for many years and have dreamed of turning my cabin in Winthrop into my permanent home. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to serve as your elementary school counselor and I look forward to becoming an active member of this fantastic community.
