Dear Methow Valley Students, Parents, and Community Members,
As we begin the transition from fall to winter and the weather begins to change, we encourage you to review the information contained on MVSD website titled, “School Closures, Delays and Emergency Routes.”
Important information about closures, delays, and emergency routes can be found by hovering over “Operations” in the main navigation bar, then clicking on the sub-page “Closures, Delays, and Emergency Routes” in the drop-down menu.
In the event we need to close schools, delay the opening of schools, and/or initiate buses on emergency routes, we will attempt to notify you of these changes in several ways. These include: Website and MVSD Facebook postings, Facebook alerts from Methow Valley News, KTRT and KOZI radio stations, and School Messenger – the school district’s automated communications system.
Please note: in order to receive automated messages about changes in school schedules or emergencies, we must have up-to-date contact information in our system. If you are uncertain about the accuracy of your contact information, please contact your child’s school secretary.
Thank you,
Methow Valley Schools
