Scheduled to hit mailboxes as early as Thursday, January 23rd, the MVSD has published the first-ever MV Pride: Budget Development Edition.
The first of what is to become an annual publication, the MV Pride: Budget Development Edition highlights the Dream Big Event, the district’s kick-off to this year’s MVSD Budget Development Process.
It also includes interviews with new principals, Crosby Carpenter (LBHS), Sara Mounsey (ILC), and Paul Gutzler (MVE) describing some of the many hopes, dreams, and aspirations that have been shared with them by students, staff, parents and community members during their first six months on the job, setting the stage for how the district will deliver on it’s aspirational vision of developing students who graduate prepared to pursue the widest range of post-secondary opportunities possible.
Further, it provides important information for interested stakeholders wishing to participate on the district’s newly established Budget Development Task Force. Finally, last but not least, the four-page power-packed edition catches up with our community’s very own Kat Stromberger Perez, MVSD graduate and set carpenter with Laika!
