MVSD Invites Interested Candidates to Apply for Position on MVSD’s Budget Development Task Force

Cane McCarthyThe MVSD has kicked off its annual Budget Development Process. Consistent with years past, the MVSD is in the process of actively gathering feedback from a variety of stakeholders that will be used to establish a list of “Priorities for Progress.”

New to the process is the establishment of the MVSD Budget Development Task Force. Using the feedback gathered from stakeholders, members of the Budget Development Task Force will review and discuss the information gathered, then work together to establish a set of “Priorities for Progress” that guide the district’s strategic investment of its limited resources. Once finalized, the MVSD Budget Development Task Force prior will make a final recommendation to the Superintendent.

If, after reviewing the MVSD Budget Development Task Force Charter, you believe you may be interested in participating as a member, we encourage you to submit an application. Applications can be submitted online or printed and mailed/dropped off at the MVSD District Office anytime between Wednesday, January 22 and Thursday, February 13, 2020.

If you have further questions about the work of Task Force and/or the process, please don’t hesitate to contact Superintendent, Tom Venable at tvenable@methow.org or call (509) 996-9205.
