The Methow Valley School District is committed to providing childcare to elementary-age students whose families work in the medical field, first responders, grocery store workers, and school staff, including MVSD staff, Head Start, and Little Star.
If you are in need of childcare, we ask that you fill out the Camp Methow Survey (Spanish version). →
This information will assist us in understanding your needs for childcare, days your child would be attending, and other pertinent information.
We have named this program Camp Methow. As such, much of the day will take place outside (depending upon weather) with time built into the schedule for online learning and other related activities.
Enrollment is limited based on staffing and facility capacity. Within these parameters, decisions will be made on a first come, first serve basis. Similar to the regular school days, students will be expected to wear a mask and adhere to the social distancing requirements intended to keep everyone safe.
We are currently enrolling students and childcare services will begin on Tuesday, September 8. The hours of operation will be from 8 a.m. – 3:10 p.m. on a M/T or Th/F schedule.
Thanks for your interest and if you have further questions, please contact Childcare Coordinator Megan Fraser at mfraser@methow.org.
