After seeking input from parents, staff, community members, local/state public health officials and most importantly, our soon-to-be graduates, we’re thrilled to announce some initial details for the 2021 Methow Valley Graduation and Commencement Ceremony.
Working within the Washington State Department of Health 2021 Graduation and Commencement Ceremonies Guidelines, we’re pleased to offer an in-person outdoor commencement ceremony that will take place on June 4, 2021 at 6 p.m. at the Liberty Bell stadium.
Each graduate will be able to invite up to six family members who will be assigned a socially-distanced designated space on the field. Families/graduates should complete the MVSD 2021 Commencement Survey as soon as possible in order to register family members who will be attending the ceremony. Once the graduation team has assessed family attendance needs, we’ll contact those interested in additional seating. The ceremony will also be live-streamed and archived for those unable to attend. All attendees will be required to remain masked for the duration of the ceremony.
Please see the 2021 Graduation Week Agenda for additional events and details. All events, including the commencement ceremony are subject to change based on the Healthy Washington Roadmap to Recover Plan.
The next 2021 graduation update will be on Wednesday, May 5th. Please submit all questions to Liberty Bell Principal, Crosby Carpenter or ILC Principal, Sara Mounsey.
Congratulations Class of 2021!
