MVSD Celebrates National Teacher Appreciation Week

Dear MVSD Students, Parents and Community Members,

Teacher helping a studentDuring the week of May 3 – 7, the MVSD will be joining others across the country, acknowledging the exceptional effort of our staff during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

From our bus drivers, food services team, and custodial staff to our classroom teachers, specialists, paraeducators, and coaches, the MVSD staff continue to serve as a bright spot within our community, particularly during this difficult period of time – modeling resiliency in the face of adversity, replacing uncertainty with hope, and cultivating a climate defined by empathy, belonging, and dignity.

We welcome you to join us as we share a few kind words of appreciation and gratitude for the courageous leadership, tireless advocacy, and dedication to service displayed by the MVSD staff!

Sincerely,

Tom Venable
