Dear Methow Valley Students and Parents,
You are invited to join psychologist Dr. Becky Sherman on January 19, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. for a virtual introduction to the foundation and practices of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC).
Parenting is likely the hardest job any of us will ever have, and it is normal to feel frustrated, angry or upset with yourself, your partner or your children. MSC teaches us how to be kinder to ourselves throughout the parenting journey. If we can learn these skills, we can pass them on to our children, and what a legacy that would be!
This interactive presentation should leave you feeling lighter, brighter, and more loving towards your family.
All virtual Parent University events are free to the greater Seattle and Methow communities, but please be sure to register in advance!
Feel free to contact Kelly Cundiff with questions.
Sincerely,
Tom Venable
Superintendent, MVSD
