Balanced…

• LUCIEN PAZ (HS) values and succeeds in balancing his school work, athletics, leadership roles and family engagement. He is a well-rounded student athlete and represents himself and our school in all the things he does.

• HELAINA REMSBERG (MS) is currently playing basketball, takes violin lessons, dances AND maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is well organized and driven, balancing a variety of important aspects of her life.

Caring…

• DAMIEN SPEARS (HS) helped with a heavy load of groceries for Culinary Arts one morning, stepping up out of nowhere to help me carry the load to my classroom. Very helpful.

• RICARDO (RICHIE) LARA RAMOS (MS) a super helper to other students in his kind and patient way. He is kind, caring and supportive of his fellow classmates. He cares about his teaches and follows directions and also cares about his school work by doing his best to keep up with his work.

Communicator…

• BROOKLYN DINSMORE (HS) communicated with teachers to get extra support in math when experiencing struggles. She is learning to become a wonderful self-advocate. Way to go Brooklyn!

• GAVIN MCAULIFFE (MS) consistently volunteers to read instructions out loud to his science class.

Courageous…

• AUTUMN EDWARDS (HS) is amazing!! She has already envisioned the kind of ranch (Rose Ranch!!) that she wants to own in the near future, she has many of the details worked out including a logo, a landscaping plan, and an operations plan. To meet her goals, she has been working the last couple years with Bill White on his ranch where she has learned many of the different areas of ranching including raising, grazing, butchering, and packaging of beef, working with horses and repairing farm equipment, managing water supplies and harvesting crops. She has detailed plans for her tiny house and is working hard every day to make all of these dreams a reality.

• BRYANA ROMERO (MS) had not really ridden a bike before our Mt. Bike unit for Outdoor Rec. But she went out there and did it anyway and improved so much. Way to go!

Inquirer…

• CONNOR GONZALES (HS) loves bringing complex math problems to CLIMBS class to work through with his colleagues.

• LILY ARNTSEN (MS) really “gets” science! In humanities, she is consistently asking good questions and engaging in “wonder bombs”. She also can’t stop writing incredible poetry!

Knowledgeable…

• ROCCO WILDMAN (HS) is clearly bright, and is one of only 2 students who got above 96% on the last Chemistry test, but what really shows how knowledgable Rocco is, is how well he is able to explain the content to his peers (Communicator). He is also always willing to help his peers (Caring).

• ALEX RAMSAY-GEORGE (MS) has impressive language learning skills, and is always checking in to make sure he’s got it.

Open Minded…

• NORA BOSCO (HS) is one of the kindest, open minded, compassionate students I’ve had the chance to work with.

• BEN KAUFMAN (MS) is always open to new ideas and trying out new skills in Humanities. Way to go Ben!

Principled…

• KAYDEN CLAPP (HS) is an incredible team member in Drama, always doing what’s best for the group and striving to improve.

• MAXWELL BENNETT (MS) takes great pride in doing a good job. In Foods, Max has consistently engaged every task that I have asked of him. What makes him worthy of this nomination is that he has also consistently stepped up to finish those tasks that other students were too reluctant or too distracted to complete.

Reflective…

• GRACE KOMINAK (HS) exceeds the expectation in yoga class. She leads her yoga practices with style and confidence and provides reflective, thoughtful and insightful feedback to all lessons in the class. She is absolute joy to have in class and adds so much to the class.

• AVA BURRINGTON (MS) is an enthusiastic learning who isn’t afraid to ask for support. She’s quick to reflect on her experiences and think about about how to improve.

Thinker…

• FISCHER EDWARDS (HS) has been working on a really cool project in the welding shop. He has taken his time and crafted it with nicely. He has had to get creative with some decisions along the way. Can’t wait to see the final product.

• LOGAN HUGHES (MS) used critical thinking skills to solve complex circumference problems today in Math!
