Korrie Perryman Selected to serve as Methow Valley Elementary Special Education Teacher

Korrie PerrymanMVSD is pleased to announce that Korrie Perryman, Liberty Bell High School graduate, has been selected to serve as one Methow Valley Elementary’s special education teacher, working alongside Claire Burt. Korrie will be replacing Jennifer Simmons, who resigned her position at the conclusion of the 21-22 school year.

After graduating from Liberty Bell, Korrie obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education, focusing on Special Education, from the University of Arizona. Following college, she worked as a paraeducator in the Vail School District in Arizona. Since returning to the Methow Valley, she has worked at Confluence Medical Clinic in Winthrop as a medical assistant.

When asked to describe Korrie, one of her colleagues shared, “Korrie is a joy to work with. She is a comfort to clients, and helps all of us navigate complex situations. She is hard-working and has a can-do attitude.”
