PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNDING ALLIANCE
School Funding

The school district enjoys the support of the Public School Funding Alliance, a local non-profit that raises money to fund student enrichment. PSFA funds a wide variety of projects and activities each year including classroom books, art supplies, field trips, artists-in-residence, counseling staff and more.

Founded in 2003, the PSFA has raised more than $375,000 in programs and materials for the public schools.

CLASSROOM IN BLOOM
Classroom in Bloom

Classroom in Bloom is a non-profit organization in Methow Valley that runs the garden located between the elementary school and Liberty Bell. Each week students visit the garden to learn about the life cycle, pick weeds, help compost, build relationships and harvest produce.

HEAD START
Head Start

OCCDA Head Start and ECEAP are comprehensive preschool programs for children and their families. We provide high quality child development services and assess each child’s development and progress.

Established in 1983, Methow Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization based in Twisp, WA. Methow Arts operates through an array of programs in Arts Education, Promotion of the Arts, Leadership, Public Art and a year-round performance series for schools and its community. Their mission is to enrich the lives of people in Okanogan County by making the arts an integral and dynamic part of public school education, economic vitality and community.

Methow Conservatory

The Methow Conservancy is an accredited non-profit land trust and natural history education center in Washington State’s Methow Valley. Our mission is to inspire people to care for and conserve the land of the Methow Valley, ensuring it will remain a place where future generations can enjoy the rural character and natural beauty we cherish today.

The Liberty Bell Booster Club brings together parents, teachers, administrators, and community members to develop extra-curricular activity programs at Liberty Bell by improving and sustaining the spirit, fellowship, and knowledge among members and the surrounding community in a cooperative and enthusiastic manner.

METHOW HOUSING TRUST
Methow Housing

For many Methow Valley residents, the stability and benefits of home-ownership are forever out of reach. As the Valley grows and changes, living wages cannot keep pace with dramatically increasing real estate values, leaving more and more Valley households in unsustainable living situations. The Methow Housing Trust develops and preserves affordable, quality housing for residents of the Methow Valley. Our homeownership program provides eligible full time Valley residents the opportunity to own a home in the place they love, live, work and play.

Methow Recycles

We are a non-profit organization helping our community reduce, reuse, and recycle for over two decades. We operate the Methow Valley’s recycling center and building materials reuse center, offer free repair services at monthly repair cafes, and manage a Share Library.

Pipestone School of Music

Pipestone School of Music, Cascadia’s educational branch, was founded in 1998 by Pam and Terry Hunt.

Pipestone offers: Private music lessons on piano, strings and winds, Pipestone Youth Orchestra, Annual Pipestone Summer Music Camp, merit and needs-based music lesson scholarships.

OUR MISSION: Building community through the joy of outdoor skating and recreation.

Since 2000, we have been providing outdoor ice skating in the beautiful Methow Valley to locals and visitors alike. With the continued support of our community, we recently led the effort to create guaranteed ice throughout the winter with a new refrigeration system.

Methow Trails

We connect people, nature and communities through a world-class trail system in the Methow Valley.

Nestled in a high pocketof the North Cascades in north-central Washington, the Methow Trails system includes over 200 kilometers (that’s 120 miles) of cross-country ski trails in the winter months and is recognized as one of the finest trail systems in North America for Nordic skiing, mountain biking, trail running and hiking. Through these trails and facilities, collaborative partnerships and public events, Methow Trails is committed to the long-term economic sustainability of the community and natural resource protection in the Methow Valley.
