School Board

The Methow Valley School Board consists of five elected officials representing the approximately 5,000 people who live from Lost River to Gold Creek. The Board is responsible for the overall education program offered in Methow Valley School District.

The Board’s focus is to help the district fulfill its mission and vision by working in partnership with our families and community, to develop curious, creative, compassionate, competent, action-oriented, citizens prepared to change the world. Accordingly, most board meetings are dedicated to issues related to teaching and learning and policies that support high levels of student achievement. The Board continues to work on practices associated with effective governance: policy development, strategic plan oversight, and goals review.

The Board welcomes students, parents and community members to share information and provide feedback at board meetings. We are here to serve you.

Board meetings take place the second and fourth Wednesday of the month throughout the school year. View past School Board Minutes »
