As the Principal of Methow Valley Elementary, Paul Gutzler leads a talented and dedicated staff that supports the needs of all learners. Prior to coming to MVE in 2019, Paul served in a variety of education roles, including:
- Assistant Principal, Mount Baker Junior/Senior High School, 2018-2019
- Dean of Students, Wade King Elementary, 2016-2018
- Special Education Teacher, Fairhaven Middle School, 2014-2016
- Special Education Teacher, Homer High School, 2006-2014
- Special Education Teacher, Whitford Middle School, 2003-2004
Away from school Paul enjoys running, skiing, and taking adventures with his wife Morgan, his two children, Elsa and Liam, and dog, Juniper.
