In December 2017, Liberty Bell was officially recognized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for Grades 7-10. IB schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education.
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
The IB organization works with schools to develop challenging, engaging educational programs which foster active, compassionate and lifelong learners.
All Liberty Bell seventh through tenth grade students are part of the Middle Years Programme and are required to take the 8 core subjects: Arts, Language and Literature, Design (CTE), Physical Education and Health, Language Acquisition (Spanish or Chinese), Math, Science, and Individuals and Societies (social studies).
